Llega, pero no te pases (Arrive, but don´t cross the line) consists of an installation sculpture that puts into tension the ergonomic subject-object (receiver-artwork) relationships; in a kind of semantic structure that operates at various discursive levels. In a close-up landed on the art´s gronds, the work, rather than inviting, imposes a conditioned approach. Consisting of a stainless steel cable that, stretched by sculptural hand, divides the exhibition space from one end to the other at a height of 1.85 cm (maximum measurement in the man´s average height), it establishes a limit to the interactive action (reinforced symbolically with the imperative title of the proposal). In a connotative order this parameterized horizon that modifies and influences the behavior of the receiving subject becomes a discursive platform for dialogue around hierarchical relationships in the power´s manifestation; questioning to what extent certain human groups hold the possibility of surpassing certain political-social structures without impediments, placing themselves above them.
