Alberto Domínguez Castillo
Matanzas, Cuba, 1989 · Lives and works in Havana
Trained in visual arts at the Professional Academy of Plastic Arts Roberto Diago Querol in Matanzas, and in Scenic Design at the University of the Arts of Cuba (ISA), his practice spans sculpture, installation and painting from a central question: what do objects reveal when the power that produced them can no longer sustain itself within them.
His work has been presented at the Havana Biennial, the Lyon Biennial (France), and in exhibitions collateral to the Venice Biennial (Italy). He has participated in the Beirut Art Fair represented by South Border Gallery. His works are part of collections in Panama, the United States and Spain.
