Espacio vital (Vital space) dialogues around the confinement of human beings to their primordial ergonomic space (50 cm²): reduction of their vital experience that puts their very existence to the limit, generating an irrepressible sensation of compression and suffocation. The conception of the sculpture, whose morphology mimics the logic of monumental statuary, subverts the corporeal representation of the human figure; its physical presence being hinted at by the closing effect produced by the traces left on both surfaces of the volumetric body. From the absence the work speaks of loss; the void in a previously inhabited space.
