The Curricán (Trolling) series is conceived as a reflection on political narrative: to what extent it functions as a lure to redirect and manage the public sphere. Starting from slogans derived from political rhetoric, the artist conceives fishing devices reminiscent of the ‘trolling’ method, based on dragging the bait. The redesign of the object is laden with symbolic references, generating a commentary that, through metaphor, alludes to discourse as a persuasive tool; how it attracts its target from the apparent, making it pursue the tackle until it is caught in it.
